Boat from Epcot to DS ???

DH is crazy about boats and has read on the Dis that you can go from Epcot to DS by boat.Has anyone taken this trip?? Where do the boats land and does it take along time to park hop this way? Thanks

Yes there is a boat that goes from Epcot to MGM. Plan on it taking 1/2 hour or so. You need to exit the international gateway at Epcot. The boat docks close to the entrance of MGM.

Yes, you can!

You go out the back of Epcot .. thru the International Gateway.. between France and UK. The boat picks you up there and goes to MGM (DS). It stops along the way at the Epcot resorts. It's not a quick ride by any means, but a nice one and you get to see the resorts.

Thanks for the quick replies Safetymom and CoolDisneyCat. This sounds like a fun way for DH to squeeze in another boat ride. We will try it in Jan.
