We will be staying at Poly for 10 nights for Xmas/New Year time. DH really wants to do the plan especially since we have 8 adults and 5 children all together.

Has anyone used this plan and what was your experience? I was told that the bikes are regular or kids bikes. However, I have never seen anyone riding regular bikes around the resort. Where do they bike to?

Thanks for any input you can provide.:D

We have done the plan at both the GF and the Polynesian and at those two resorts there are no bikes included. WL and FW do have regular bikes on their plan I think.

Up to 5 drivers can be on the plan. It's a great deal if you enjoy boating.

Is this available to guests at any Disney resort, or only those staying at a deluxe?

Are there any AP discounts?

Thanks!

It is available to any guest but you have to use the plan where you set it up. If you do it at Wilderness Lodge that is the only place you can get your boats and bikes and you cannot stop at other resorts for a side trip with the boats. We did this last year in October while staying at BCV and it was great. We signed up at WL and although it meant traveling to get there it was worth being able to go all over Bay Lake. We did not do the bikes but I understand you can take paths to and through Fort Widerness from there. They are regular bikes not the surrey bikes. The cost was $210 for length of stay and was good for up to 5 drivers. I think the age for the water mice is 12 and up and the pontoon or canopy boats was 18 but can't find my paper tonight that details it. I would only do it at one of the hotels around Bay Lake as the other areas just don't let you really have a lot of space. I will do it at Christmas if it looks like the weather will be warm enough as we will be there 8 days and it provides a great break from the ususal things.

There are no AP discounts.

Actually at the GF and Polynesian my husband said you have to be a guest of that resort to book the plan. WL that is not the case according to many posts including castleleri. Don't know about FW.

We did the family plan at Fort Wilderness in July and bikes were not included.
