Does anyone have any info on BWI cincierge, We have a standard concierge room booked for earlt DEC. Any tips on room request and can you elaborate on the foood offerings..There is so little info on the BWI. I hope I made the right choice. Thanks

BWI concierge is the one we have heard the worst reports about. I believe this is where they set up the food spread on card tables in the hall, I am sorry to be such a bummer, if I am wrong about the card tables, someone will post soon.

This will be my 4th trip to BWI Concierge in Dec.

No, the food is not set up on card tables LOL :)
The Inn Keepers Club is on the 4th floor and is attended by a very nice concierge staff.

Morning fare is the same as all the other concierge services. Coffee is ready at 6:30 am and continental breakfast is from 7-10:30 am.

Refreshments are 11:30am-3pm. Chips, goldfish crackers, nuts, m&m's, cookies, and on one occasion pb&j were served. Lemonade and ice tea were out aswell.

3-4:30 pm are tea and sweets. Cookies, pb&j, and finger sandwiches are served.

Wine and Cheese selections would be 5-7pm. Assorted cheeses and crackers, fresh fruit, and one hot item (chicken and shrimp skewers for example). Also, pb&j.

Cordials and desserts are 8-10pm. Cheescakes, chocolate covered strawberries, tarts, small eclairs, and cakes.

Water and soda are available if you ask, but these are not cold.

You can see Illuminations fireworks from the lounge. They open up the doors and you can go out on the balcony to hear the music and for viewing.

Hope this helps :)

The balcony is open all day long. There are tables and chairs so you can eat breakfast or just sit out there and relax.

Watch for the low hanging lamps on the balcony if you're clumsy like me. It hurts when you hit your head on them as I did last Friday. I still have a mark 5 days later.

Our room as at the end, by the ESPN club, actualy facing Epcot. The view of Illuminations was impressive.

If I remember right, you could get cold cans of pop/soda from the lounge if you asked. This past weekend they only gave out warm cans.

We were told that there wasn't any cold soda or water but we were always given cups with ice and ice was always out. We also get a frig so warm or cold doesn't matterto us.

I am glad to hear the tables are out on the balcony with the refurbishment going on they only opened the doors for Illuminations from what I could tell.

Things are always changing that is why I hesitate to post, we also stay in a deluxe room and all of those face the BW so I would be no help with a standard room view.

I just did not want the OP to think the food was served on card tables and that the service was lousy.
