Boardwalk

I've never been to Disney's Boardwalk. How do you get there? I've never seen any busses from the resorts going there.....

The Boardwalk is in the Epcot Resort Area, near the Swan/Dolphin and the Yacht/Beach Club. You can drive there (3-hour parking limit usually), take a FriendShip or walk (10 minutes)from Epcot or the Disney-MGM Studios, or take a bus from one of the theme parks/transportation hubs.

It's a pleasant walk from the International Gateway entrance/exit from EPCOT. After you go past the boats, just go across the foot bridge that will be on your left hand side, and this will put you at the beginning of the Boardwalk.
There are several restaraunts and shops, as well as street entertainers, games, etc. It's a fun area, but as with all things Disney, it's mostly about spending money! Still... there is no charge for checking it out.

If the weather is nice, I fully recommend walking to the Boardwalk. The actual walk from the International Gateway to the edge of the Boardwalk is really not that far at all.

You can get great views of the Yacht and Beach Clubs, and the Swan and Dolphin on the walk, and you can explore the shops and restaurants and such while walking along the Boardwalk.

We've never been limited to three hours on parking at the Boardwalk before. Is this new? We've usually told them "we're going to the Boardwalk," they ask for photo ID, then let us go on our way, parking to the right.

The Disney Boardwalk is located directly behind the Disney Boardwalk Hotel. If you park at the hotel you can literally walk through the front of the hotel to the back and be there. I usually spend an evening there at ESPN watching the NBA playoffs. I also enjoy the ice cream along the way.

There is no time limit on parking at the Boardwalk.

Fantastic. Thanks for the confirmation. We love spending an off night at the ESPN Club. Three hours is hardly enough time.
