BoardWalk

Instead of paying for a taxi, you could pay to valet your car at the start of the day at Boardwalk. Walk to Epcot from there and return to the Boardwalk that night.

Probably the best idea. :)

Price is probably comparable to parking at DHS anyway.

So there is no way to leave our car in the Epcot parking lot then walk back to it from the Boardwalk after Epcot has already closed?

How long is the drive from Epcot to Boardwalk if we wanted to just move our car after we are done at Epcot?

Thanks!

That is correct. If Epcot is closed, you cannot walk back through it to get to your car.

I'd give it about 15 minutes. Most of that is for getting to your car, getting out of the parking lot, and then driving to the BW.

Just one note, when in November are you going? As PPs have indicated, when the F&W festival is occurring (ending 11/12), parking at the BW is very limited. If you're not a registered guest, you'll most likely be sent to the lot behind the Hess station (across the street from the BW).

Valet is about $12/day plus tip. Note that valet runs on a midnight to midnight schedule, so if you drop your car off and pick it up after midnight, you might end up paying for two days of valet. I asked about this at the GF last October and the valet person said that they have some grace time, but midnight is when the system starts the "new day".

We tried to park at the Boardwalk on a weekend and were told that Friday & Saturday we are not allowed to park there just to walk around the Boardwalk. So if it will be a Friday or a Saturday, I would take caution.

I can't remember which trip it was, I know it wasn't during our Spring Break trip or Christmas trip this happened. But they were really busy that day.

Just from our experience.

Right. The turnstyles will be locked after the park is closed, so you cannot enter at all, let alone walk across the WS and Future World to the main exit.

You could park at DHS and then boat over to Epcot first thing in the morning. Then, you can walk back to DHS when done at BW.
In all reality though, your best bet is to choose a day that Epcot is open late enough to allow you to walk through. OR...just pay to valet park at BW. Or, you can probably park behind the Hess St., across the street from BW's entrance.

We are planning on going Thursday 11/15 so F&W festival will already be over. Do you think there will be parking avaiable at the Boardwalk around 8:30PM?

Thanks!

My instinctive guess is that there is usually parking available at the Hess lot, even at 8:30 pm. At the BWI/BWV lot, that depends on how busy the resort is, how many conventions there are, etc. If you plan to park at the Hess station, you should be okay.

The Hess lot is to the right (across Epcot Resort Blvd). The closest lot is the "Convention/BW lot" - Convention guests have first "dibs" on this one and remaining spaces are available for BW guests. The other BWI/BWV lot is to the left of the guard gate. The guard gate is located between the Convention and BWI/BWV lot. The driveway north of the Convention lot has a gate (so you cannot drive into it). To get to the Hess lot, go past the turn to the guard gate and then make a right at the stop light.
