What is the best way to get to the boardwalk from Fort Wilderness? When is the best time to go to the boardwalk, day or evening? What should we not miss at the boardwalk? As many times as we have been to Disney, we have never visited the boardwalk. In fact there is so much that we haven't done, we usually just go to the parks. We are going May 15-25th this year and I plan to do alot of the "other" stuff. Any suggestions of what not to miss outside of the parks?

What is the best way to get to the boardwalk from Fort Wilderness? If you have a car, you could drive. Otherwise, take the boat to MK, then get on the BW bus. When is the best time to go to the boardwalk, day or evening? Definitely evening. It's pretty dead during the day- in the evening, there are entertainers and carnival games, as well as the restaurants for dinner and the ESPN Club, Jellyrolls, and Atlantic Dance Hall for entertainment (Jellyrolls and Atlantic Dance Hall are for 21 and over only). What should we not miss at the boardwalk? Any of the previous- we also like to stroll around the lagoon and check out the other Epcot resorts. You could also rent a surrey bike and ride around the area.As many times as we have been to Disney, we have never visited the boardwalk. Any suggestions of what not to miss outside of the parks?Goodness, lots of things!! We love to go to DTD for shopping and strolling. We also like Disney Quest and the waterparks. There are 2 great mini-golf courses you could play on. We also really enjoy exploring the different Deluxe resorts.

Hope that helps some. Have a great trip! :cool1:

Another option to get to BW from FW is to take the Hollywood Studios bus from the Outpost Depot and catch the boat to BW. The boat is fun and also stops at the Swan, Dolphin and Y&BC.
