boardwalk vs....?

Hi, i just registered here. We have three young children, we're booked at the boardwalk inn for the middle of july. I was wondering how it compares to the other deluxe resorts (in the same price range... grand floridian is waaay too $$$ for us) In room size, hospitality, etc...

The Boardwalk is a very nice hotel and compares to all the other deluxe hotels. I do enjoy the BC or Poly with kids. The Boardwalk seems a little more adult to me and I am not a big fan of the scary clown slide .

The BWI has a great staff and the clown pool is little weird but also cool. It actually looks like the clown is throwing you up. LOL. The rooms are very nice. Do you have the dining plan? There are some great places to eat around there.

BWI and "the boardwalk" are just simply fun places to be. Enjoy!

the boys are 2, 6 and 8
I am not a fan of clowns at all but when the kids saw the clown slide on the disney web site, they got very excited and wanted to stay there. I was just wondering if they might actually enjoy one of the other resorts better since the boardwalk does seem to be a little more adult oriented...

You might want to look at the Poly.

I chose the Poly because it's so incredibly convenient to the Magic Kingdom. I'm sure the boardwalk is wonderful, but the Magic Kingdom (and then Epcot) is our primary objective.
