Hi- New to DVC, we just purchased our first points 300 at BWV. We generally go in early November and we have approx 12 people each time. We did some math and the most logical rooming would be a 2br and studio from our stand point. Does anyone have any experience with this? also are there better places to request at the BWV?

For November, keep in mind that you should always book BWV at 11 months, especially if you want two rooms or a GV. Be sure to budget for Pool, not Standard, View. Standard is often gone by 8:05 AM for November dates at BWV.

The downside of a 2BR + studio is you may be on opposite ends of long hallways from one another.

October through marathon is DVC's highest demand time. November starts with Jersey Week, has the end of Food & Wine, the start of the Christmas party, the Wine & Dine Half Marathon, and, of course, Thanksgiving. The two weeks after Thanksgiving are the highest DVC demand weeks of the year, thanks to mild weather, decent crowd levels and low points.

Because you can only work through booking steps for one room at a time when booking DVC, there can be risks that when you finish booking one unit, the next unit you need may no longer have availability.

Another thing to know about BWV is that there are no dedicated two bedroom villas. They are all lockoffs. So the second bedroom will have a queen bed and double sleeper sofa and a murphy bed. Plus a kitchenette and a door to the outer corridor. Basically a one bedroom villa connected to a studio.

And every time someone books a studio, a 2-bedroom lockoff becomes a 1-bedroom villa.
