Hi

We are staying at the BWV in May, and I have some questions.

We booked (2) studio rooms (we are staying with another family).
Any idea how close to each other we will be able to get our rooms?
We were hoping to be right next door to each other.

We also have "preferred" views. Any idea whereabouts in the villas that will be?

Thanks in advance!!!!

The waitlist came through for me last week. I was able to change 2nights at VWL to BWV. At first they gave me preferred view - garden/pool. I dont remember putting in a request. They called me back Sat and said the Boardwalk view was open so I jumped on it. Ive read that people can be put on a waitlist for the BW view.

Markm0926,
I don't believe you can get 2 connecting or adjoining studios. You most likely, at best, will be several doors away. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

If possible, I'd try and request "pool view". Preferred view can be anything from a view of the main pool, the quiet pool or the side that faces the valet parking lot. I got the view of the valet parking lot when we stayed there and I was not too happy with that. I thought alot of standard views were much nicer than the view I had. But because I had a small canal beneath me, BWV and MS considers that "water" view. I thought the pool views were nicer than the one I got. The preferred view villas are scattered throughout the villa from what I could gather.
Have a nice stay :flower:

Sometimes when I'm making multiple room reservations the CM has asked if I'd like to have the rooms in the same area, sometimes I say yes, and sometimes it really doesn't matter. I said "yes" for my mom's 85th birthday celebration at BWV, and sure enough, we were all on the same floor, and the 3 SV studios were very close to our 2 bedroom.

I was asked for our VWL ressies for this August if I would like the rooms nearby and said yes, but obviously, don't know how that will work out. This past December, our 3 studios were all over the place at VWL, I hadn't asked for anything in particular, we were just interested in getting rooms ASAP for our guests. We had a wonderful dedicated studio, that we did have to wait for, the others had 1st floor rooms in different wings.

I would call MS and see if it is noted that you asked for the rooms to be near each other. I don't remember if that was on our form or not, but obviously someone at BWV did know.

you can put in your requests. Have both parties request where you would like to be(pool view, etc.) and that you would like to be near each other. I'm sure if you give the both parties names on the reservation requests, they will try to put you near each other if possible.

there are adjoining studios at BWV - the dedicated ones.

your reservation must say dedicated studio for you to even have a chance at these things.

BWV can be strange - you could be on the same hall (no matter how long) or they could be directly under you.....

or you could be on the 3rd floor (where I know the dedicated are) and they could be on the first....

preferred view is the pools, lagoon view across from the Dolphin, and lagoon view towards studios. (plus a few bad views)

We stayed with another couple two years ago and our studios were right across the hall from one another.
