Boardwalk Villas current renovations

We are arriving at BWV on 1/31 and I just received a phone call to let me know about the construction/renovations taking place there right now. Should I be concerned about this?

Nope, not at all! I arrive in two days. I was just there in early Dec. my balcony had just been painted! There were trucks and scaffolding all over the place. But....it wasn't really invasive.
I got that same call, a few days ago. Couldn't imagine why Hollywood Studios was calling me!!!
Sure, stuff is being closed down or worked on, but I am looking forward to yet another great stay at BWVs!!

I'm surprised you got a call! We got a letter before our trip in Dec. After I got the letter, I called and requested a refurbished room, high floor and that's exactly what we got. I saw no construction at all when we were there - this was 3 weeks ago.

I received an email and phone call as well...from Hollywood studios....lol...arriving 1/25.. But staying on the Inn side for the first time as this is a solo trip for work....first time by myself..so not sure what to expect......when I called they said it was painting etc......when we were at the villas the end of October we had a 4th floor refurbished room...heard no noise at all..and they were working on the 3rd floor

When they called me, they asked me if I had received either an email or letter regarding what was going on at BW. Since I had just been there, a month ago, I pretty much knew what I was getting into. But, like I said, there were big trucks all over the front lawn of BW...they were in the process of painting the standard side areas. They never impacted me though...well, other than not being able to safely use my balcony my first day....it had just been repainted!!!

I had a fourth floor refurbished studio in Dec, standard view. It was quite pleasant!!!

We just returned from a 1 bedroom standard view, 4th floor. It was renovated. They were working directly below us on the 3rd floor, even on Sunday. Only heard some hammering during the day. Didn't bother us at all.

I wonder if we will receive a phone call. We check in on feb 6. As long as the pool is open we'll be happy.

We check in on Feb. 13. Studio garden/ pool view. Hopefully they will be done. Did the studios always accommodate 5 or is that new?

Fairly recent. When they refurbed the studios, they took out the tv/armoire and replaced it with a tv unit that has a Murphy style bed beneath it. When folded up, it's the table.

I was told, during my phone call, that instead of the work being done between 9 and 5, they are pushing to get it done....so 9-9 now.
