Boardwalk Villa studio question

I saw a pic of a studio at BWV. Is that a daybed next to the television? If so could an eight-year-old or a three-year-old sleep on it?

There are daybeds in a few of the BWV studios. It is more like a bench than a daybed. A 3yo could definitely sleep on it and possibly a small 8yo.

If you want one of those units, you'll need to request one when you make your reservation. They are called "dedicated studios" or "studio Plus" units. Note that this is a request and not guaranteed.

Most of the studios at BWV are "lock offs". They have a connecting door to a 1 bedroom unit (and could be rented as a 2 bedroom unit). They do not have the daybed.

The daybeds are shorter and narrrower than a "normal" daybed (which is more like a twin size bed). A small child could sleep on it, but not an older one or an adult.

We were in a studio plus last year and it really isn't possible for an 8 yr old to sleep on that. I wish I could remember for sure, but I don't think that's a real mattress, just a piece of foam. I personally don't think these were intended to be slept on and like Carol said it can be requested but you're not guaranteed to get it.

Actually the sofa beds in the studios are just doubles.

They are not called "dedicated studios". They are called a "studio plus". Not all dedicated studios have a daybed. I was in a dedicated BWV studio in October of 2004 and it was not a lock-off and it did not have a daybed.

Do any of the HA studios have a "daybed"? If I want to add this "request" to my reservation what exactly do I have to ask for? Do they have many/any in the BW View Cat?

our first one was in the BW view - was a studio 'plus'.

I don't think they can be ha rooms.

that day bed takes up a fair amount of room

but call and ask.
