Boardwalk view guaranteed ?

I just got our ressies for April at the BWV in a 1 Bdrm, and MS told me that we had a guaranteed Boardwalk view room. I even asked her twice to repeat the statement, I was not aware that any view was "guaranteed "? any comments would be appreciated

Yes, it's true. Recently, the Boardwalk view rooms became a separate booking category. Point cost remained the same. My understanding was this was done to avoid "front desk" problems and disappointed guests. There were always more requests for a BW view than rooms. Now we/you know up front if you will have that view. If you want one, you have to call as soon as the 11 month window opens (or hope you get lucky and/or catch a cancellation via the wiatlist)

IMHO, it's a good change for all involved.

Make sure your confirmations show the BW view once you get them. It will be typed right on them.

Ive just booked a Boardwalk view for next August at the 11month window. I was told it was guaranteed as above.
