Hi! I'll be going to BWV for the first time next weekend. :cheer2::cheer2:
Trying to figure out what time I need to leave to get places...

I know you walk to DHS and EP, but how long are those walks?
How much time should I allot for the walk/how far? (Half mile? Mile?)

Also for the bus to MK, how long is the ride once you are on the bus? I know BWV is closer than the Values, but on average, how long would you say it takes to get there?

Thanks for any answers/advice!:wave2:

I've never stayed at BWI/V so I'm not sure about the buses but have stayed at BC. The walk to Epcot is about a quarter or a half of a mile, so an easy 5-10 minutes, if that depending on how fast you walk. DHS is closer to 15-20 minutes, as it is closer to a mile. :)

The bus to MK and AK stops at the Swan and Dolphin after BW. I would allow 20 to 30 minutes plus wait time. IF your room is on the end closer to Jellyrolls, I would walk over to the Swan (take the steps at the end of the hall by room x002).

Oh ok thanks for the tip!

For trips to HS we usually take the boat. The walk isn't bad but when you spend all day on your feet the boat ride is nice. Again, if you are close to the S/D side it is probably faster to walk to the boat dock at the S/D and get on there. It is definitely faster, if returning by boat, to get of at S/D and walk to BW. Epcot we usually walk to the park.

The walk to Epcot is 5 minutes once you're on the boardwalk. The walk to DHS is 10-15 minutes depending on how fast you walk, you can cut down the time by walking through the main pool area and taking a left on the walkway by the lake. We usually use the boat to DHS its not a bad walk but you do enough walking in the park. The bus ride to MK isn't bad once you're on the bus its about 20 minutes. The bus to DTD takes forever since they go around the back way we always drive to DTD no matter where we stay. AK can take a while too so we drive there too, they share a bus with BB and for some reason it takes a lot longer.

Is this the case whether traveling on foot or when someone in the party is in an ecv? Wouldn't it be easier to get on the BW bus before guests from BW and S&D get on? TIA!
