Boardwalk to Poly & Contemporary?

We are staying at BWI and the only two restaurants we need transportation to are at the Poly and the Contemporary. Would the fastest way be to walk thru EPCOT and take the monorail?

that is a long walk took me 15 minutes - so not quite a mile but close.

I would just take the MK bus.

or you can walk down to Studios (mgm) and take the Polyn or Cont (might be both) buses.

I would think the faster way (using Disney transportation) is to take the MK bus from Boardwalk. If your passes don't have hopper privileges, this is really your only option since you would have to use a day admission just to walk through Epcot.

Using the MK bus, its a short walk to the Contemporary or hop on the resort monorail for the Poly.

I've been reading such horror stories about the bus transportation from BWI, that's why I questioned using the bus. I do have hopper passes.

You can get hung up on the monorail also. We waited for about 25 minutes for a car to make a change before we could board. I would hop on the MK bus, about an hour before your seating time. Then, either monorail to both CR and Polynesian or just walk to CR from MK, and even boat to the Polynesian from MK.

I think this is what we'll end up doing. I don't mind a wait/travel time of even up to an hour, after all we're on vacation, we're not running a marathon. We will probably leave around 1 1/2 - 2 hours early and walk around the resorts and soak up all of the decorations, may even stop at GF to sight see!!
