Boardwalk Standard Studio in Jan

Just wondering what anyone thinks our chances are of getting the standard Studio at Boardwalk in Jan. We are members at OKW and although have been on the waiting list, have never been able to get one of these Boardwalk rooms. We would like to try them as they are almost the same amount of points as a Studio at OKW, but I am not sure how many of these types of rooms are at the resort.

My (somewhat educated) guess is that your chances might be pretty decent. I say that because I'm going on a last-minute trip in September, and surprisingly the only studios available at BWV were the standard view studios. And that's less than 2 months out.

May be possible unless you want to go during the WDW Marathon (Jan. 12 & 13). Be sure to call day-by-day right at the 7 month mark. Good luck!

i booked 2 boardwalk view studios about 2 weeks ago for jamuary and yesterday booked a poolview studio and waitlisted for a boardwalk view..so im guessing you wont have any problem..unless lyk it was said be4 its the marathon weekend..cuz this year i went on marathon weekend and the only reason it effected me was becuase i had to stay at the yacht club as there was nothing for for DVC at boardwalk or beachclubvillas. but you should be finee! good luck to ya!

Yeap, the dates we can't get are marathon weekend. Oh Well, we just wanted to stay at someplace different.
