Boardwalk Renovations

Anyone have the scoop on the Boardwalk renovations? I hear that they are beginning to rehab the rooms. We love the Boardwalk, but would be delighted to see some updates and some general freshening up. I have heard that they are working from the fourth floor down on the Inn side. Has anyone heard about the Villas? Would love to know...

I hope so they have needed them since I was there back in 2001!! I hope they go with something a little different! I LOVE the resort and location, but some of the decor I could do without!

I would really like to know more information about rehab. I've heard that they are starting on the concierge rooms first in July, and that those should take about three weeks, but when will they be working on the rest of the resort? What is the "scheduled" completion date. We're scheduled to be there Nov. 2-8. This is not making me want to move, but I'd rather be prepared for upheaval due to renovations rather than surprised by lack of facilities open.

I'm bumping this up as I would love to know too.
We've never stayed in a deluxe and are really looking forward to it.
I just hope everything is completed and the pool is open (I'm hoping for ONE good day to use it!)
