Do any of the 2 bedroom villas at BWV have 2 beds in the second bedroom?

We have a preferred two bedroom and a preferred studio. My granddaughters are 2 and 3 years old. They aren't real light sleepers, but not heavy sleepers either. With that in mind, do you think the noise from Jellyrolls will wake them at night, if we get a Boardwalk view? What about the general daytime Boardwalk noise - for naptime? I am planning on bringing a noise machine.

When the balcony doors are shut you can't hear a thing. DH is a very light sleeper and has no problem at all.

The second bedroom of the 2BR has a queen and a couch pull-out double. That applies to all and is also true for all studios. You hear little to nothing in the boardwalk view rooms when outside porch doors are closed. Also, during daytime even the boardwalk itself is quiet as little to nothing happens there until evening.

If you have a "preferred" view and have not already asked for or been given a boardwalk view, it is unlikely you will get one. Reservation method now is to ask for BW view at time of making ressie to get it. They tell you then whether you have it (and reserve it for you) or it is not available.

Does anyone have suggestions on other requests to make when inputing the res? We also will have a 2BR, and I'd heard that some of the studios have a daybed as an alternative to the pullout, so we'd like to do that, but what about location? Any thoughts about elevators, exits, etc? I believe we have a standard view.

Only the dedicated studios have the extra daybed. If you have a 2 bedroom unit, the second bedroom will not have the daybed.

FWIW, the daybed in the dedicated studios is very small - approximately 4 feet. IMHO, it is not suitable for a bed, even for a small child as it is also quite narrow. (We used it to store our purchases). Some have reported that it is very hard - I would tend to agree.

We've stayed in standard view rooms quite often. We prefer an upper floor across form the bus stop or an upper floor near the tennis courts. Both these choices are quite a distance from the elevators. The "bus stop" view does have a view of the higher level fireworks from Illuminations. The second overlooks a small pond and has a view of the Tower of Terror. Both also have views of the parking lots/driveways, but there is nice landscaping between the rooms and the blacktop areas. Rooms farther from the elevators tend to be quieter - less hallway traffic.

If you are traveling with a stroller, wheelchair or ECV, I would request to be near the elevators.

Thanks for the info, we will be trveling with strollers, but my thought was, since at least one set of parents will probably have to call it an early night each evening, it might be nice to get a fireworks view. What do you think, worth the extra walk? I've also heard that the corner rooms are great, but don't know if they can be 2BR or not.

Just a note on the noise levels. We stayed in a preferred view studio last October with a Luna Park view and I found it to be very noisy. There were a few family's with screeching kids swimming past 10 pm. It didn't bother my 1 1/2 year old at all though. That in itself makes me nervous for a BW view. My sister on the other hand has had no complaints about noise-like most I assume.

I have stayed at both BoardWalk (on 2nd and 5th floors) and Luna Park (1st and 3rd floors) and found the Luna Park to be noiser when I was trying to get to sleep (10pm)

The noise from the BW didn't wake me up during the night either time.
