I am planning to take two days off from park hopping to relax at my resort (BWI), I have two TS meals reserved but would like the afternoons to be low key. Are the kiosks for pizza and hot dogs always open? Where exactly is the bakery compared the rooms? And lastly is there only one exit from the hotel to the boardwalk itself or are there side exits as well?

Thanks

The pizza window and hotdog kiosk are open for lunch and stay open the rest of the day. The bakery is on the boardwalk on the hotel (not Villas) side. There are multiple exits to the boardwalk. I'm not familiar with the hotel side, but we request villas at the far end away from the boardwalk and exit near the villas quiet pool, walk around to the main pool and enter the boardwalk from the entrance there, which is near the fitness center and the arcade. There will be many exits on your side as well with different routes to the boardwalk.

Thank you for your helpful reply! I'm very excited about my stay here, but I feel somewhat unprepared not being familiar with the resort.

There are multiple staircases that all end in an exit door. But none of them go to the boardwalk directly, they all are on the "resort" side facing pools, gardens, that sort of thing. You'll still need to walk around the outside or through the middle to get to the boardwalk. You can always go to the loggy and take the stairs down from there, or take the elevator to the bottom floor, walk past the fitness center, through the hallway and out to the Boardwalk area.

Don't panic, it's very easy to figure out. You can take the resort map with you that comes in your welcome packet. It's small and you can fold and fit it in your pocket.

The Boardwalk is a great place. We've stayed there twice and would love to go back again.

I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but the pizza at the take-out window is awful.

LOL! I have no illusions about the pizza!!! Originally from NYC, I still have a hard time with the pizza in Oergon!
