Boardwalk Questions

In addition to the surrey bikes (which are quite fun), you could also rent mouse boats from the Beach Club marina.

The marina is actually at the Yacht Club (not the Beach Club). It is only a couple hundred yards from the BC, but if you go to the BC expecting to find it there, you won't.

oh we've never been to the boardwalk... i'd love to try it one evening this time.

where should you park when you go if you're not going via Epcot etc??

I'm not sure the ages of your party, but we had fun spending a few hours at the BW and Yacht Club a few weeks ago just enjoying the atmosphere and hunting for Hidden Mickeys! The CMs inside of the hotels were great and would tip us off to hidden Mickeys in the lobby and surrounding areas and we had a lot of fun hunting them down. If you're not sure what Hidden Mickeys are, check out this website: http://www.hiddenmickeysguide.com/ or pick up the book at your local bookstore (it's small and yellow).

Is there some sort of entertainment/buskers on the boardwalk every night? I checked Steve Soares website and it indicated they were there Thursday - Sunday only, however the information was from 7 years ago, so I wasn't sure if that was still accurate.

Besides the fact that BWV is my family's home resort, our mom never lets us stay anywhere else because she loves how conveniently located it is and how beautiful it is, especially in the evenings. While still great in the mornings, during busier times of the year, the evenings are a better time to walk around the entire Epcot Resort Area because there is just much more to do and enjoy. My younger sisters really enjoy the "carnival-like" games and the magicians, while my older sister and I enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. The walk from Epcot is relatively short... maybe 5-10 minutes or so. Hope you have a great time :)

As mentioned, you can absolutely go and visit, and it is great fun, especially for the kids at night. In the evening, you can walk the boardwalk as mentioned and enjoy the buskers. We ordered a pizza from the pizza window at Shutters (alas, no longer there!) then walked over to Yacht Club to check out all the hype. Both are lovely resorts!

Come prepared though. If you head over to Yacht Club at night, they have a campfire set up and you can purchase smores packages with marshmallows you can roast over the fire on long skewers. We asked if we could participate (with the pool-hopping rules, we wanted to be sure we weren't overstepping) and they were very welcoming.

Afterwards, they showed a movie on the beach on a big, blown-up screen. My kids were killing to stay but all the loungers set up for this purpose were taken and we didn't bring anything to sit on. I'd suggest bringing a blanket, sheet or towel along and enjoying the movie, then Illuminations fireworks from the beach. We had an absolutely lovely night last year.

The smores and movies are actually at the Beach Club. The movie screen is setup right on the beach at the end of the walkway that comes out from the Beach Club lobby and usually start about 8pm (weather permitting).

Does anyone know the order of the boat stops? We'll be going from HS to Swan for dinner and trying to estimate the time we'll need.
Thanks!

HS>S/D>Y&BC>BW>Epcot...and reverse

HS to Swan is about 10-12 minutes after boat leaves HS.
