Boardwalk question

I think most boardwalks are nicer at night, with the lights adding to the atmosphere. Also you might catch some of the boardwalk performers at night.

Night time! I haven't explored that resort yet but I've read at night it's really fun to stroll around because of a couple of street performers. I'm pretty sure there are a few carnival type games to play. During the day, I don't think there is anything that goes on entertainment wise but someone else will know for sure.

Boardwalk looks so beautiful in photos, both during the day and at night.

There is pretty much nothing going on during the day.

We walked the Boardwalk several times in June. We saw a magician at around 6:00 one night but not much else.

BWV is our home resort, beautiful to walk anytime but night is when the performers come out. Call the concierge desk, they can give what's going on when.

There is definitely nothing going on during the day. At night from about 7-9 there are usually a few street performers (think magicians). A hair wrap stand. A couple of carnival games. You can rent surrey bikes (during the day too) but its more popular at night. Other than that and grabbing an ice cream or bakery treat there isn't much else going on in terms of "entertainment".

Its very nice and peaceful and especially a nice "extra" if you are staying at one of the Epcot resorts, but overall IMHO there really isn't much for a 15 year old to do there.

I think the Boardwalk is the hidden gem at Disneyworld. It is completely beautiful to start off, that being said my daughter completely loves the entertainment. Depending on time of year it will start at 6 pm or 7 pm and is some kind of a mix of comedy and magic. There will be one show on one end of the Boardwalk and as soon as that ends there is another show starting on the other side. It will go on for approximately 3 hours and really is great entertainment. They usually choose kids or parents to participate so all I have ever seen is smiles from kids. You also can see the fireworks from Epcot and the Magic Kingdom. I really think Disney is missing the boat by not providing direct transportation to the Boardwalk. If you've never been you need to go for it, very fun!!!!!
