I recieved a "for your future enjoyment" letter (I alway shudder when I get one) yesterday informing me that the Keister Coaster at the Boardwalk will be closed from Feb 7th through March. I was pretty bummed about that as my kids love the slides. On the upside we will be allowed to use SAB at the beach and yacht club. How far is it to the SAB from the BW? The notice says there will be a shuttle bus, but would it be just as quick and easy to walk there from the BWV?

I got mine two days ago. We only had one night planned and we cancelled it. Now I am looking into getting the one night at AKV to attache to the rest of my ressie. Although I was excited about being able to use SAB...I just keep thinking that FL's Feb. weather can be so iffy so who would really want to have to troop over to another pool??? NOT I

got ours yesterday and we have no problem with it. At least luna pool will still be open and SAB it not that far away.:goodvibes

It's about a 10 minute walk (at a avg walking pace) to SAB from the BWV lobby. You can also take a friendship boat across the lake - just be sure you get on the DHS boat. The next stop is the dock for the YC/BC/BCV.

If you just want to swim, there ar 3 pools at the BWV/BWI resort, Luna Park (Main feature pool with the closed slide), and two leisure pools (no sllide). The leisure pools are seldom crowded. One is on the BWI side and one on the BWV side.

We arrive on 2nd April, so hopefully it will all be done. Talking of shudders, I always get shudders when I see the clowns face at the pool. It must be all the years of watching horror movies with my Dh Johnny. :rotfl2:

This is good advice. The water taxis are more frequent than the bus service and only take 4 minutes to cross the lake.

On the return trip, you'll want to take the Epcot boat.

The Luna Park pool is one of our favorites.

Hopefully, they will replace the clown mouth with something nicer.

Does it say how long it is closed for? We were planning on going March 2-7 but it sounds like it might be closed???
