Boardwalk Pool

How many quiet pools does this resort have? I just read on this site that the quiet pool is closed the time that we are going to be there.....just great DH is going to kill me because I moved us from another resort to stay there...

Ok here on the DIS there are dates posted for pool refurbishment at the BW...I called WDW and they have no dates on file...I called BW directly and they have no dates on file either...so where did this info come from?

To be safe I switched us to the Yacht Club.

It's hard to get straight answers about pool rehabs at WDW resorts. Last year I went crazy trying to find info about the WL pool and finally ended up calling the resort and asking to be connected to the pool staff directly. So I think it's a good thing you switched to YC. If the quiet pool is important to you and it's closed it would ruin your trip. There are other pools on the BWV side, but they are a longer walk from the Inn.

The Boardwalk Inn has one quiet pool and Boardwalk Villas have one quiet pool. Both Inn and Villas share the theme pool and you can go to either.

You didn't say which was down for rehab, but I doubt they would have both down at once.

The Inn quiet pool is much quieter and more secluded than the Villas quiet pool. When my wife and I stay in the villas, we always walk across the lobby to use the Inn quiet pool, because it is much more secluded and usually (but not always) much quieter.

I read that the Villa Pool will be closed the end of April to the beginning of May -- can't remember the dates, but the entire time I'm there (April 27-May9). Not sure if this also means the hot tub and the community center. Of course this is the one and only time I booked pool view and the pool will be closed....go figure.
