Boardwalk pizza window

Not sure about Dining Plan, but its not very good pizza IMO. There is is a little booth just across from the pizza window that the food is pretty good. Also, Boardwalk bakery has sandwiches that are good and I think BWB works on dining plan

That's great.
Thanks very much.

Can't help with the dining plan, but I thought the pizza was pretty good. It's just a basic pizza, but it was good for a 9pm snack when we were walking around the Boardwalk.

I feel the same way...we sometimes get one to have by the pool. It's always been pretty good.

The pizza is obviously not the best, but it's not all that bad either. When we hang out at the Belle Vue lounge in the Boardwalk we skip down there to grab a few slices. Much cheaper than room service at the Boardwalk :) Or, grab a few bowls of soup from the bakery which is always good too.

Yep, not terrible, limited toppings, but the pricing is pretty decent.

Personally have found it highly convenient in the Boardwalk area.

Honestly, for Disney and the price it's pretty good pizza. We ordered from there 3 or 4 times. We ordered whole pizzas and stuck to cheese and pepperoni mostly. If you like veggies, try their Boardwalk special. It's covered in spinach and mushrooms. We found it to be a very economical way to feed our family of 4 for a quick meal while hanging out on the Boardwalk or at the pool.

Boardwalk pizza is the pizza we eat while on property. Just something about sitting on the Boardwalk with the entire pizza there or just a few slices and relaxing and listening and seeing the boats on Crescent Lake - that's a vacation photo in the mind. Plus - beer and wine are served and you can people watch.

A hint and then a funny story.

If you are staying at the Boardwalk and want a pizza delivered to your room via room service, it comes from the window. Much cheaper to go down there and order it yourself and take it back.

Funny story - now the window has buzzers for when the pizza is ready but "back in the day", there were no buzzers, it was all wait for your slices and if you had a whole pizza, they called your name. We ordered our first whole pie and were told to wait to be called so we sat down to wait. My husband had given his first name (since our last name is difficult to pronounce) and we waited for about ten minutes. And then the birds flew from Crescent Lake! "RICHHHHHHAAAAAAARRRRRDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOUR PIIIIIIIIIIIIIIZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZAAAAAAAA IS READY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I've never seen my husband run that fast in my life! The last time we had the pizza and got the buzzer, we joked that it would scream "RICHARD YOUR PIZZA IS READY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

What's the pizza like?

How does a whole pizza work on dining plan?

Thanks.
We used the dining plan in August at the Boardwalk Take Out Pizza Window. It's great use of your QS credits. You get a large pizza, 2 drinks and 2 desserts for 2 QS dining credits. It fed four of us (2 adults and 2 teens). We all liked the pizza and feel that it's good value for two credits.

About three weeks ago, they changed the Signature Pizza special. It used to be garlic, spinach, and onions but they are now serving an Italian sausage, peppers, and onion pizza. The manager told me that it was based on guest feedback. The pizza was decent, if a little greasy.

That photo makes me hungry!!

It's a shame the special has changed- as my fave pizza has toppings of onion & garlic & additionally; peppers, chillies & jalapenos.

Is there any wiggle room for switching toppings-or are they set in stone ?

Unfortunately, I believe that they're set in stone. There were several people in front of me who were ordering whole pizzas, and I think I heard they couldn't make changes on those either. The pizzas might come out of the main restaurant kitchen ready to bake.
