Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta

Anyone heard anything about when Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta might reopen? It's always a go-to for our picky-eater family.

The restaurants in paradise pier hotel are closed.
the restaurants in toon town are closed.
troubador tavern in fantasyland is closed.
And as you know boardwalk pizza and pasta is closed.

everything else is open.

note that character meals are open but modified for physical distancing.

When I was in Toontown two weeks ago, I overheard a conversation between a CM and a guest who was asking about the food places in Toontown. The CM said that they were closed due to the construction of Mickey and Minnies Runaway Railway, that the backstage areas for the preparation and cooking of the food has either been demolished or can't be accessed.

It was a go-to for us too and we missed it on our October trip. DD is a picky vegetarian and she likes their pasta. I like their salads and pasta too. I wish it would re-open.

Unfortunately, if you have a park reservation for CA this becomes a problem for lunch with the restriction on hopping before 1:00 p.m. When you start at park opening, you are ready for lunch by11:00 or 12:00. I like Alien Pizza's Caesar salad. They don't have a vegetarian pasta option like Boardwalk does (or did) though.

I saw that too (that it re-opened). I am bummed because we left the parks yesterday, but I can't wait to go there on my next visit. I read that it is not mobile order yet either, which I am happy to hear.
