Hi...does anyone have photos of the 1 bedroom unit at Boardwalk Villas? We will have the standard view.....what would that mean?

Also....I know there is the "roller coaster slide" pool....does anyone know the age/height restrictions for the slide? I have a 8yr old and 3 yrs old.

Also...are there other pool areas beside the main pool?

Is the parking lot close to the villas?

Thanks!!!!!!

I personally don't see the difference between Standard and Preferred views... Unless you plan on spending alot of time in the room, but I've stayed in both types and enjoyed both...

The 8 year old shouldn't have problems on Keister Coaster, though the three year old more than likely will be under the heighth restriction...

There are two other pools at BWV... One is the "Quiet" pool on the DVC side of the Resort, and then there is another pool for Inn guests...

There is parking close to the Villas... If you are on the first floor in a Standard view, you might even be able to walk off your deck and out to the lot.. ;-)

The standard view overlooks the parking lot, while the preferred view overlooks either the Boardwalk or the pool/canal/Swan and Dolphin.

My daughter rode what she likes to call the "clown slide" (aka "Keister Coaster") for the first time around age three. She is of average height, and the only issue was that she had to ride alone (ie no sitting on Daddy's lap!).

Have fun!

If you want a good standard view, ask for top floor, across from the bus stop. We were in 4101 (1 bedroom) in December and had a perfect view of the Illuminations fireworks, we could even hear the music.

Our fourth floor 2 bedroom standard view overlooked the main entrance/valet parking. I kinda liked the view (always something going on), and while we couldn't see a lot of Illuminations, we could listen to the Beatles cover band from the Great Britain pavillion while sitting on our balcony. Don't forget to walk around the lake to the Beach Club for a Beaches & Cream lunch.
