We just got back tonight from a wonderful stay at the world (best yet), we have many magical memories to share soon, not a lot of time tonight.
We stayed in OKW bldg 14 right accross from the hospitality house, we have stayed there before in a studio in the back of the resort and HATED it. After being right accross the street from the bus stop, eateries and the pools etc, I DIG IT!
Pluses = size of the 1 bedroom, bus service for the most part was great! NO SHARED BUSES WITH OTHER RESORTS!!!!! friendliness of the stafff for the most part etc etc etc
Minus- ANGELO at the BELLMANS Stand that man has no business dealing with the public, (a story for another time).
We did go over to the beach club from epcot one day and ate at beaches and creme, we waited on a downtown disney bus for 40 minutes, with other stops involved and it was CROWDED, SRO on the bus, then waited another 20 for an okw bus from there.
I would say overall bus wait time was under 10 minutes each time from resort to parks and back, for the 7 days we were there
that itself should be a BIG BIG BONUS!
I also have to say Windsor at guest relations rocks, long story short, we went to mvmcp tues and didn't get pics with Mickey/Minnie,
in holiday garb, we went to guest relations to followup on the $25 refund from cindys royal table since we ate there the morning before and used vouchers, I never recieved a receipt for the refund, so I asked a staffer in front of Cindys that night and she sent me to Guest Relations,
I explained to Windsor that I never recieved a reciept for the $25 refund, he tried calling someone but that didn't work, he told me that I should call disney dining, I had my daughter on the counter with me the whole time, I asked her if she wanted to come back to the christmas party on Thursday to get more pics and enjoy the parades etc, she said yes, emphatically, I pulled out my room key/charge asked Windsor for 3 more tickets he handed us off to another staffer, I was told by her that the MCMCP tickets were on Windsor, put our money away, you will spend it somewhere else.
I WAS FLABERGASTED, thanked Windsor and shook his hand, went back thursday night and thanked him again!
