Boardwalk Outer Garden Room Question

Hi everyone. DH and I are (hopefully, fingers crossed, can't-plan-anything-for-sure-right-now) heading to WDW for a long weekend soon. We're staying in one of those Garden Cottage Rooms at BWI. I know there's two different layouts: one with a large patio and no balcony, and one with a small patio and small balcony. Has anyone ever stayed in both of these? Is there one that's inherently better than the other for some reason that I might not be thinking about? TIA!
