We have to decide where to stay this coming April, and our choices are a Boardwalk standard studio or Old Key West studio.
Which one is more convenient to the parks, bus schedules and have more options for children?

Well the Boardwalk is going to be more convenient to the parks, as you can walk (or boat) to Epcot and MGM and then bus everywhere else. There is a lot of action at Boardwalk as well. Old Key West is more laid back and not in the hustle and bustle of Disney. The transportation is good and you can get to and from the parks just as easily, but it has that Home Away from Home fell (which I personally love) where you can detatch from the Disney pace and relax when you are at the hotel. Also a bonus for OKW is that the rooms are larger (being the first DVC resort the rooms at OKW are larger than the other DVC properties) and at OKW the studios have 2 queen beds where the other DVC resort studios have 1 queen bed and a sleeper sofa. It is totally a toss up based on your needs. If you are looking for close to the parks and the day and night life than Boardwalk would be your best bet, but I prefer OKW :)
