Boardwalk Inn

Can anyone share some information on this resort? We could only get standard rooms for our dates. Any particular rooms that are better than others? Anyone have any room maps of the resort? Of course we would love a water view, should one become available---worth it? Give me the good news and the bad news. Thanks.

You can go to wdwinfo.com and click on resorts then on Boardwalk Inn. They have a resort map on there.

I've stayed there once. It was a beautiful hotel. The villas are our DVC home resort, so we usually stay on that side. The Inn is a bit of a walk to the pool. I'd try to get a room as close to the lobby as possible. Either way though it is beautiful and you'll be within walking distance to EPCOT and MGM (it's easier to take the boat to MGM though IMO). It is such a nice area. We love it!!

We always book a standard room.

At checkin we always request a room near the quiet pool on the ground floor.

You end up in a quiet courtyard surrounded by buildings but it is very nice. Easy access to the quiet pool. We have great memories of hanging by the BWI quiet pool after a long, hot fun Disney day while watching the closing fireworks over at Epcot.

The walk is not that far to the lobby, buses or over to the main pool. Especially compared to the immense amount of walking that you will have at the parks.
