Hi  ,

We are staying at BWI in 2004 and I would like to have some more information about the concierge facilties, has anybody stayed at BWI Concierge before? Also, does anybody know any good BWI websites were I can see some pictures and more information?

Thanks!

Richard.

BWI is a beautiful resort, in a very good location.

Not to bring you down, but when I was doing research for my last concierge stay, I kind of got the impression that BWI concierge services were not really up to par with some of the others. We ended up at AKL concierge and thought that was really great.

The other resort concierge that seems lowest ranked is the one I am staying in next month, the Poly.

Hopefully, we will get a bunch of replys saying that I am wrong on both counts.

Oh Dear, Richyams!

We are staying at Poly Concierge in under 2 weeks!!

Looks like we have chosen the 2 worst concierge resorts! Oh well, I'm sure we will have a great vacation anyway and we can make our own opinions of the two!

Thanks,

Richard.

Anyone else have any comments?? Thanks!

Have stayed at both and you won't be dissapointed.

As far as food offerings the Polynesian is top notch.

I would have to say my experience with AKL concierge was the best. I just wasn't crazy about the location or the room decor and that would be JMHO, others love it.

If you are looking for pictures I believe www.wdig.com has some and www.ourlaughingplace.com has some as well.

We have stayed at the BWI con. and the Poly con.

Hated the BWI..the food was lousy the cast members were just okay, we hated that you had to ask for a drink other than lemonade or coffee. They were warm and the cast members seemed bothered. The Poly con. was wonderful!!!!! Cannot say enough about it! I think it is hard to beat! The food was great..plenty of it and lots of choices, not like the stale popcorn and M&M's at the BWI!

Wow, Eeyore1928

It is amazing how 2 people can have entirely different experiences:confused: We found the CM's to be wonderful, by the 2nd day they knew what we were all drinking and got it for us as soon as we walked in the lounge. Last trip 9/01/02 they added hummus and a cheese spread along with toast to the afternoon offerings. Also no stale snacks so far and this will be our 5th trip to the BWI Concierge. Sorry you had such a bad experience:(
