Does anyone know if the lounge has Minute Maid juice boxes? I usually ship some down but since we're staying CL this trip, I was hoping they'd have them. I'd need fruit punch for one picky son and apple juice for the little one :rotfl:

goofygal531-I just spoke to my friend who is a cast member up in CL. They do have minute maid apple juice boxes. They have minute maid OJ in small plastic bottles. My suggestion is you might want to call the BWI and asked to be transferred up to the lounge and speak with them directly. You will have a fantastic time.

My wife and I stayed in the Boardwalk Inn Club level last January and were a bit disappointed since it consistently gets raves.

We were upgraded to a Garden Suite and while the room was great it at the same time we felt a bit isolated from the lounge. Also for some reason they were not delivering are packages to our room, and just got a notice they were available for pickup in the gift shop. We thought maybe the service had been discontinued, and inquired about it, and were told that they still delivered to club level rooms that someone probably just made a mistake and if we waited the would probably be delivered the next day. They weren't and we picked them up ourselves. Not a big deal, but it was a peak we missed having.

But in the great scheme of things this are minor problems. We still got great service overall and still recommend doing club level. We just liked the level of service at other club levels we have stayed at better (AKL and GF).

In the end I hope you will highly enjoy it.

Just being there again in October I do know that they do deliver. The Inkeepers Club Castmembers are the ones that deliver packages to the rooms. They had some deliveries to make during an afternoon Nascargirl & I were in the lounge. Must have been a slight miscommunication on why Valorus's gifts got left in the gift shop?? Mine have always been delivered to my room as well. We stay at the BWI on Club level every year and have never had a problem. Just letting everyone know it is not the norm. :confused3

I emailed IPO about several other things and included the juice box question in the email. I'm hoping they'll have them there. I know they have them in the quick service locations.

I can see how that would change the overall feel of club level. I've read that those suites were designed for Honeymooners, which would explain why you felt isolated. Sometimes a nice room upgrade is not always the right choice. It wouldn't work for us either as we need to be near the lounge to grab milk, water etc... for the kids.

I promise to take lots of photos and report back on the food offerings. I've noticed other CL threads have the daily hot items posted, no one seems to know what they are at the BWI.

Thanks again! :flower3:

how far is the lounge from your room? at the poly we were right down the hall. the broadwalk c.level close to your room? if you are in one of the 14 rooms available where would you enter your room? from the boardwalk? any help would be great. never stayed at c.level at the broadwalk only at the poly.

Here are some photos of the Innkeeper's Club:

We were there when they had their afternoon snacks out -- popcorn, pretzels, potato chips, fish crackers, M&M's, cookies, lemonade, iced tea, Evian, soda.

I'd like to know also.:goodvibes

I don't think any rooms are accessible from the actual Boardwalk. I thought I read that for security, you always had to pass thru the lobby??

I was looking at the resort map and I think all the CL rooms are in a single corridor above ESPN Zone to Spoodles.

Seems the only out of the way rooms are the garden suites.

We stayed in the Boardwalk Villas. To get to Concierge, we had to go down a set of elevators, cut through the lobby over to another set of elevators, and take that to 4th floor. It wasn't convenient from our room -- but it was easy to run over there when coming to or from the parks.

There are two sides to the Boardwalk -- the Inn side and the Villas side. Concierge is on the Inn side on 4th floor.

We were upgraded to a Garden Suite during our October trip, and here are the hot food offerings for the nights we were there:
Monday: Clam Chowder and Pulled Pork (with bread if you wanted to make a sandwich)
Tuesday : Kebabs: Grilled Shrimp, Beef, and Chicken
Wednesday: Chicken Wings and something else??
Thursday: Fish Casserole: Fried fish pieces with onions, peppers, etc. and Boneless Chicken Kebabs

I don't know if they vary the menu every week, but this gives you an idea of what was offered.

how far is the lounge from your room?

This was the only inconvenient part of our stay (we didn't mind, but might bother some) - our room 3255 was on the 3rd floor, so that meant having a little bit of a trek to go up to the lounge on the 4th. The concierge did show us a back stairwell if we wanted to hurry on up there without waiting for the elevator, then on 4 we had to use our room key to go through some french doors and pass the concierge desk then walk down the hall to the lounge.

Hint - he also showed us that off the elevator lobby on the 4th floor there's a small sitting room with french doors. Open those and there's a small balcony where you can stand and watch the higher Epcot fireworks. :goodvibes

Also to the foodies - my DH loved the ESPN chili and boo-yah chicken wings with a Corona in the club lounge

Here's a new Deluxe room picture from the luxuryguide - now I really can't wait to go back!

Thanks for that information and thanks for the picture of the updated room!

I put in a request for top floor, near lounge. With two small kids, elevators are a nightmare. It defeats the whole purpose of staying ON the club level floor.

I know this doesn't bother some people, but we travel frequently and it's such a pain to take elevators if I can avoid them at all costs! (Anyone who's gone on a cruise with a stroller knows what I'm talking about!! You feel like you live in those elevators! :rotfl:)

I even avoid dining at Chef Mickey's just because that elevator to the monorail is a PAIN!!! Too crowded with double strollers, wheel chairs, etc... all waiting for one elevator!!

Plus we're going during a holiday week, which just adds more people and stress. We're checking in early around 10am, I hope I can get on that 4th floor. Otherwise, DH will be going to the lounge :rotfl2:
