What time does evening fun begin???
What time do the Entertainers Begin and End at Night??
Is there enough stuff to do to spend a couple hours there??
Any Good Gift Shops??
AND FINALLY........
Wanted to End up Over at Beaches & Cream to Share a Kitchen Sink....
Can we Get There Easily from Boardwalk ????
I would appreciate any comments and/or Feedback !!
Thanks a Big Ole' Disney Bunch!! :thumbsup2 :thanks:

You can kill a couple hours there, I think. I'm not sure what time, exactly, the festivities begin, but they last until about 10 or 10:30.

Beaches & Cream is just a 10 minute (or less) walk ... or you could take a five minute boat ride from the BW to the YC/BC dock.

There are a couple decent gift shops, notably a big Disney store where you can buy the usual tee shirts and knickknacks. ESPN has a restaurant and gift shop, too. Meantime, the BW hotel is a fun and colorful place to just walk around, explore, or people-watch in the lobby. There's a nice lounge inside where you can get a drink and listen to old radio shows.

At the end of the Board Walk, you have Jelly Rolls, where they have dueling pianos, and the Atlantic Dance Club, which is loud and raucous but worth a visit.

You can also rent a surrey bike and (huff huff, puff puff) peddle around the lake. Or buy an ice cream cone and just wander around watching the jugglers and acrobats. There is always something going on, and it tends to get lively and busy -- just like a boardwalk should be!

We have been in the early evening but there was not much going on until around dusk. There are not many shops. There is a disney store with a small grocery section, the ESPn store, candy shop, bakery, and a clothing shop. There is a place to rent surrey bikes and a few of those binocular machines that run on quarters as well as hair braid stand and several carnival games. If you have adults there is a dueling piano bar which we have never been able to enjoy because we have the kids with us.There is also a dance club but I have bot seen that open yet.The Brew pub,Flying fish,Spoodles and ESPn have meals. You can easliy get to Beaches and cream by walking around the laggon or by hopping on the Epcot boat(it is free). We planned to rent a surrey and go there but they make you sign a waiver indicating that you wont do this. You can walk to back door at Epcot and sometimes can see the laser show. You can also walk past the Swan and go to Fantasia Mini Golf.We saw a juggler, stilt walker and magician during different visits. They were just wandering and would stop every now and then and perform,My kids preferred down town disney.I was a little disappointed when we first went because people made it sound better than it was.We do love the location!

How far of a Walk to Get to Fantasia Mini Golf ??? I didn't realize the Boardwalk was close to the Swan...... :moped:

Boardwalk is alot of fun in the evening. You can also see Illuminations from the Boardwalk so be sure to see it while you're there.

The Boardwalk, Beach Club, Yacht Club, Dolphin and Swan are all with walking distance of each other. You can also take the boat to all. The Fantasia Mini Golf is across the street from the Swan. You can walk there--it's about 5- 10 minutes away. You exit the Swan near the Convention area.

The Boardwalk evening activities start around 7pm and go to 10:30-11pm. The restaurants and clubs are open later.

There is a little bridge down past the dueling piano bar. Just go left and the Swan is right there and the Dolphin is across the walkway. If you go though the Swan and come out the front entrance you can take a right and walk down to cross walk and cross to the mini golf course.Be careful. It is a wicked busy street.
Oops somebody else answered quicker than me and I didnt notice.

If everyone is above 21, you should definitely check out Jellyrolls... we had the best time when we were there last March and definitely plan on going in May!!!

I recall someone posting that one can get an outstanding view of Illuminations from the bridge over the international gateway.. is the view from there better than at the boardwalk?
