Boardwalk in Sept?

DH and I are heading to Disney without the kids this Sept. and so far have a room booked at our home resort AKV. I'm wondering if it's going to be tough to get a room at Boardwalk at the 7 month mark - any thoughts?

also, I"m not sure what view to request, as we've never stayed there before.

I really don't think you'll have a problem. I have never had a problem getting bwv at the 7 month window. Just make sure you call right at the 7 month window. Good luck.

I hope you are going the first week of September....it is wonderful at BWV then!! Hardly anyone there!! We had wonderful weather (always a shower in pm, but never long). It may be more crowded last week as I think thats when F&W fest is. I think you will have no problem getting in early to mid Sept.

Sept. is probably one of the best shots at 7 months. You may even have a chance at a SV or BW view room. Good luck!

DW and I got two weekend nights at a BWV boardwalk-view studio in May at the 7-month point.

We have gone the past two Septembers. Low crowds but hot weather. Try for a BW view.

We were at the BWV the first week in Sept (right after Labour Day) and almost had the place to ourselves. Most afternoons we went for a swim after DS had a nap around 3-4 and there were a couple days where we were the only family in the pool.

We had no problem booking a boardwalk view (awesome!) for end of September into October at the 7-month mark. If you have the points, I highly recommend the boardwalk view!

I've gotten a SV studio 3 times for trips in September at the 7 month mark. You shouldn't have any trouble

We just went this past September over Labor Day, and had a one bedroom. We became members in June and we still got in. Good luck!

September is a wonderful time to go. Being from Texas the weather is perfect to us. We have been over labor day weekend and during the third week of September. Both times the crowds were very small. You shouldn't have any problems getting a room.

thanks for all the replies - I can't wait to book this!! I think we will try for the boardwalk view, sounds like it's good, and we're fine on points. Plus it's only 3 nites, mid-week.
