Boardwalk in October

Does anyone know how hard is it to get a 2 bedroom reservation in October at the Boardwalk especially during the time period of October 8 - 12? If someone wanted to wait to make DVC reservations how long could they wait to make them?

If you are not a BWV onwer, I would reserve as close to the 7 month window as possible. October is Food & Wine time (as well as MNSSHP time) and the EPCOT resorts are in demand. There are other non-BWV owners who will call day by day at the 7 month window to stay at the BWV during this time.

If you are a BWV owner, I would reserve before the 7 month window opens, unless i wanted a standared view or a guaranteed Boardwalk view. If I wanted one of those, I would reserve as close to the 11 month window as I could.

You could certainly get BWV reservations closer to arrival, but the chances decrease every day you wait. Since you know your dates, my advice is to reserve as soon as you can. You can always cancel without penalty if you do it at least 31 days prior to arrival.

Ohhh that's the time we're planning on being down there, and the room we want too. Should be a great race on the phones in early March. Good Luck!

We are going that same week in October, already booked ressies at OKW. I "might" see about switching to BWV, but I'm not sure I want to be in the mix of all that going on. We'll see though... I'm just going to checkout all the F&W fuss and see some of MNSSHP.

we will be there too 7 to 12 th ( BWV owners) and have 5 standard st booked at 11 months. we do this every year now.

well just this morning I booked one those dates for somone and I had over 8 people ask for the same dates and many many 2 bedrooms were being asked for along with 2 or 3 studios only pool/ garden 2 bedrooms were left. I would call day day 1st thing I think it will sell out soon

I "might" see about switching to BWV, but I'm not sure I want to be in the mix of all that going on. We'll see though...

At the BWV's you would never know that there is so much going on right next door. Most days last October we were alone in the quiet pool. You should try switching. It's really nice being so close to EPCOT for the F&WF.

Go BWV we booked a 2 bed standard view back in Nov and I am glad we did! Sounds like we all gonna have a good time!

I booked 2 days ago and was told the the 2 bedroom standard views are all gone and there wer only a few prefferred views left. Good luck.....call day by day as soon as you can.
