I believe Spoodles has a pizza take out window on the Boardwalk. For those who have been, how is the pizza? Is there an outside seating area? Does it get crowded? Thanks

Being from the Chicago area I am spoiled when it comes to pizza. That said, Spoodles pizza is okay- it's fresh made but has almost a frozen pizza taste to it. But it is quick and by WDW standards, relativley cheap. There is outdoor seating by the order/pickup window on the Boardwalk. I usually have pizza there every time I'm at WDW. It's a nice place to have a quicl meal. They have paper plates, napkins and utensils right at the window.

We always enjoy getting a slice or two of pizza from the Spoodles window and eating on the Boardwalk. It's a nice evening, sitting there watching the entertainment and people go by. That said, it's all about the atmosphere - not the pizza. It's ok, but certainly not great by any means. If you want great food, go in and eat at Spoodles! (It's a "must do" for us every trip.)

We're also from Chicago, so maybe we are a little :snooty: about our pizza, but I'm sorry, we thought it was terrible! And DH will eat anything! I can't even think of words to describe it, it was just bad! :crazy2: (This was the closest I could find to a smilie gagging.)

Great, thanks for the replies. We are considering Spoodles too.

Let me ask this, do they make the pizzas there (toss the dough, spread the sauce, sprinkle the cheese), or are they putting pre-mades in the oven??

They make the dough, toss the dough, add the sauce, toppings and cheese and burn it in the wood fired oven.

Sorry, but the stuff is inedible. :confused3

DH and I thought it was good, we HATE Chicago pizza, love NY, NJ and Boston pizza....I would compare it to that

It definatley doesn't compare to Chicago pizza but I eat it. Although the last time I had it, it was a bit on the greasy side. I know some people don't like that and after eating a slice it felt like it was just sitting in my stomach. It was just too heavy.
But the atomosphere is nice especially in the evening, you can just sit outside on the Boardwalk. And a slice, which is a decent size is under $4.
