Boardwalk holidays parking question please

We are staying at Boardwalk over Christmas and have some family that lives nearby. They are coming over for dinner and we are going to Blue Zoo over at Dolphin. I know they can park there but I believe it’s paid parking in their lot. Can they come and visit us at Boardwalk and park in their lot to save them a few bucks? I know they were allowed in the past but have never tried over Christmas and don’t know if they are more strict at this time

The webpage for Bluezoo says “Complimentary valet and self-parking spots are available.” So no need to worry about parking them at BWI!

It will be hit or miss at the Boardwalk. Their website states complimentary valet parking for Blue Zoo.

If they give you name and room number and say they are coming to visit you, they *should* be allowed into the parking lot. I’ve had family come visit me at BWI, BUT it was not the holiday season. If that doesn’t work, they can head to Swolphin to park. We eat at Shula’s quite frequently when we go to Disney and have never paid for parking at Swolphin. We just pull up to the check-in area and tell them we have reservations at Shula’s and have always been directed to a free parking area.

If you have extra MagicBands you could give them to your family, and they could in theory use the automatic gate for returning guests and not have to rely on the guard letting them in.
