Boardwalk for a cold Canadian SO HAPPY!

I posted this on the Resorts board....

With the 4/3 deal right now, we booked Boardwalk later Feb. I thought we would get a Value resort or moderate but the prices for 5 at BW were so good.

With passes and Dining plan it is $5000 US taxes included for 5 people. I am really happy! (This is a better price than an all inclusive 4* plus in Mexico!)

I'm happy for you - escape the cold!! We're staying at the Boardwalk when we go down to get married - I've never stayed there before, so be sure to post some pictures when you get back!

Boardwalk is lovely. We are headed there for a long weekend (my birthday ) in two weeks. Can't wait to briefly get out of all this cold and snow. I'm sure your family will love the location, resort and staff. Enjoy!

Lsmith and LadyKay! You two are so kind! Kay, let me know how the trip goes and recommendations. I am just feriously getting as much info on BW as I can.

It is beyond my wildest dreams to stay at a WDW deluxe. Wow.
Oh and Happy Birthday! Did you get the Disney birthday gift request if you are in the parks ON the exact day?

Yep, We're getting married at Sea Breeze Point (right at Boardwalk) and then our reception is in the Boardwalk Ballroom! After the cold winter we've been having, (-34 last week) I need to be assured of a warm wedding day!

I've never stayed there before so I'm curious to hear what you think of it when you get back! We're going down May 15-20, to do a planning session, but we're staying at the Pop Century.

I have not heard many negatives things about BW. The photos I have seen of weddings are amazing.

I think they must have great staff due to the reports. But I will post when I get back after Feb 25. Probably on this board under resorts and trip reports.
