Not a huge fan of the BWV/Inn myself for several reasons, and one being the restaurant/dining issue. Yes, you can go out on the boardwalk and hunt down places to eat, but it doesn't compare to having a dedicated restaurant and counter service area.
You can go to the Beach Club, where they have a much better set up in my opinion, of course.

There is a nice counter service place inside the resort. It shares space with the resort shop. There is Beaches and Cream, and Hurricane Hannah's all that will give you a nice counter service type meal. However, be warned. If you are using the
DDP, Beaches and Cream is considered table service.
If you are staying the Villas proper, you may want to lay in a supply of light foods and snacks. That can keep you from having to wander around looking for something to eat, eh?
All told, many folks like the BWV/I and I'm sure you'll be just fine.
