As another bride planning her wedding I am not going to let those people spoil it for me - I don't know if there is anything about me and I don't care -as what they think of me is really not my business and I refuse to give them any power over me.

I did not plan to post anything that really gave my ID away and I have so enjoyed looking through everyones elses PJ and trip reports and learning from them.

Without this board it would have been so much harder to pick my photographer, hair and make up person and location options for a reception and so much more.

It would be awful if this shared experience was denied to future couples planning their special day.

Anyway enough of my rambling - Boardwalk Bride have a wonderful wedding and we all wish you a fanstastic time and wonderful married life together.

You have to at least let us know that you are back and give us some way to see some of your photos, I really want to see your Canada wedding!

I will be so upset if I can't see you pictures. I was so excited to see your ceremony pictures in Morocco and your TTD pictures at Stormalong Bay.
I've never seen Morocco used for a wedding and I think we are all looking forward to your pictures.

There are always going to be those who make fun of others and it's usually just because they are jealous. Please don't even think twice about them. They are a few compared to the many who love you. and are looking forward to hearing all about your trip and seeing all your wonderful pictures.

Add me to the chorus of hoping you post pictures of your wedding! I've been dying to see both the photoshoot in AK and your Canada ceremony pics. It's all going to be so gorgeous!

It's really a shame you aren't going to post pictures. I enjoy reading everyone's PJ and love to see how the plans actually came together.

Try not to let others bother you. They don't know you so why should their opinion matter? If you are happy, they why let what they say get to you?

Hope you reconsider (and I say this to everyone considering deleting their PJ/TR).

Hey Everyone, thanks for the words. I honestly didn't think that many people were interested in my wedding anyway...since I don't normally get that many posts on my PJ. To be fair, the people on that board didn't really say anything that bad compared to others...just made fun of some of my choices. Perhaps I will do a TR, but if I find that my pictures are being taken over there, I will have to stop, or if anyone involved in my TR gets made fun of, I will stop. That, in my opinion, is too far, and than becomes my fault.

A small update....

Tomorrow is our wedding shower I am having a "hair trial" tomorrow (I am using quotations since it obv won't be the actual stylist) just so I can see how it will look on me. A reminder of the chosen style:

We have almost packed almost everything, so now all we need to do is get excited!!!

The extra dress I ordered for TTD was really ugly in person, so I had to return it. In good news, my AMAZING photographers for the session have found a place that will clean it for me after I "trash" it in the pool, and will bring it back to me at WDW before I leave. They really saved the day on this one. I was so excited to "trash" the dress...but I do need to wear it again in June so it needs to be cleaned (and apparently my material doesn't react with chlorine, so it should be as good as new). I paid a lot of $$ for my dress, so I just want to get a lot out of it!


And my most exciting news................


I AM DONE SCHOOL!!!! I officially have a masters of science degree


Okay, enough bragging....I just never in my life thought I would be able to say that. Now I just need to find a job......

I'm considering getting my masters degree in some science field. What are you planning on doing with yours (if you don't mind me asking)? I'm a big sci. dork and I'm interested in so many fields that I'm having trouble choosing. I can't believe how close this is. I remember reading your old thread way back when.

Thanks everyone! I didn't want it to seem like I was bragging, but.....I figure I worked my butt off so I will brag for the next little while

Sam- it's not really a "sciency" degree. It is planning and development (like as in urban/town planning) so unfortunately I cannot be of assistance there! I wish I could say I had like a crazy biochem degree

The weather so far isn't looking the best. There is a chance it could rain on both wednesday and thursday, which are the welcome and wedding days. That is according the the US site. On the Canadian weather site, it shows it as being sunny and pretty warm, so I'm going to hope my fellow canuks are the better weather predictors! (fingers crossed)

I just read on weather.com that it is going to rain on wed BUT be partly cloudy on thursday! and it says 10% chance of rain! Which I thought would make you feel better. both days are around 78 degrees.

I do actually work for a very nice company (Starwood Hotels) which actually run 2 resorts on Disney property (Swan and Dolphin) I CAN get friends and family rates at almost all Starwood properties so if you want to stay at a Starwood Hotel... let me know.

Hey everyone!


My hair trial turned out amazing! That will definitely be the way I will wear my hair (the Heidi Klum way). Mine was done with a lot more volume though, which I love!

Our shower today was AMAZING!!! It was so much fun, and we ended up getting amazing gifts, which was way over what we would have ever expected! I didn't bring my camera, so I will wait to see if anyone sends me pictures.

The shower sounds great, how nice of your family and friends. I'm sure someone will have some pics to send you.

Don't worry too much about the weather. I find for Orlando if there is any chance of rain whatsoever they will show a rain cloud. Usually when we go there is rain forecasted for everyday but it really will only rain one day so I'm sure it will turn out fine.

Congrats on your graduation! You must feel so relieved to be DONE!!!! When do you leave? We have been in Orlando the last week and I kept looking for you but had a feeling you weren't there yet. We had BEAUTIFUL weather the whole week! On Friday the reports were saying thunderstorms but a drop never fell! There was about 2 hours when the sky was cloudy but other than that it was blue skies- hopefully it will hold out for you. And keep in mind that in FL it usually doesn't rain all day like up north, sometimes it will pour and then clear up rather quickly. We also went and saw the Canada site while we were there and LOVED it! We aren't switching sites but think we will use it for our Epcot photoshoot- can't wait to see how it all turns out!
