BoardWalk Art Gallery Reportedly Closing in October 2025

How awesome would it be if they converted that space into a proper Quick Service Restaurant? Perfect location with the feature pool behind it and the Boardwalk out front. Trying to speak this into reality.

I wonder what the plan is with the Art Gallery, Jelly Rolls, Atlantic Dance Hall, and Big River Grill closed.

Probably an unpopular opinion but I’d move Thimbles & Threads down to where the ice cream shop is. Then I’d make that entire section - inclusive of the art store, Screen Door, Big River - quick service. You could still keep some of the food offerings from Screen Door.

The issue is they wouldn't be able to make it an actual QS since they can't vent properly. Anyone know if there are rooms directly above Jelly rolls? If not, maybe they could do something there but that's far away from the rest of the BW especially the Inn side so not sure how busy it would be. I'd rather see them do something around the pool instead to allow for hot food.

That last aqua section of Boardwalk Villas (the crest/wave) is attached to JellyRolls, and I think that area above JellyRolls is frequently rented out for private events.

Yes! Flying Fish has rooms above so does Trattoria.

That would work, as long as they didn’t serve any fried foods. BRG served chips with its burgers because the kitchen can’t vent commercial fryers.
