for entertainment?
are there jugglers/etc walking around?

The Boardwalk isn't as exciting as most people believe it to be. There are a few entertainers (about 3 different ones, if I remember) that do a short show about 5 - 10 minutes. That's it. There isn't anyone constantly walking around and doing things, only these performers who come and go. Other than that, there are about 5 carnival style games, other than that, there really isn't much going on. It's a nice place to go, but don't expect to make a full evening out of it.

I love the Boardwalk. It has great ambience. That said, it isn't the hotbed of entertainment. As jel said, there isn't constant entertainment going on. I don't hang out on the Boardwalk because there is alot going on. I hang out there because it's got a great feel to it. I also like going to Jellyrolls, ESPN, Flying Fish etc......

Couldn't have said it better.

Where are the carnival games? We were just there and I don't remember seeing any. We went to Spoodles. Where in reference to Spoodles are the games? Thanks!

During our recent Christmas visit, we decided to go over to the Boardwalk one evening and walk around. Even though it was REALLY chilly that night, there were several 'acts' strolling the Boardwalk. Most notably, there was the most delightful banjo player. He was dressed in 'Payne Stewart' type attire and would take requests. He knew every Disney song we could think of and the kids loved him and danced while he played. After three or four songs he had collected quite a following. Finally, after posing for pictures with him we left, but we found the Boardwalk Banjo Guy to be the highlight of our evening!

The games are towards the other end of the Boardwalk, toward Atlantic Dance Hall, in front of Big River Grille, if memory serves.
