Boardwalk AKL part 5.

Well we did MK. And had a great time. We did every ride we wanted to do. HM was my ds'3's fave attraction. He kept singing, Oh yeh, oh yeh!!! We headed back to the lodge and I saw my friend already in the pool. it seems having never been he only went to Tommorow land and the girls were not very interested and wanted to go back and swim. He never ventured past there!!!! we had an adults only dinner this pm. My DBGF was watching as I had switched off with her earlier in the week. My DS9 and his DD6. Were all going to Simbas club house. We had 6-30 ressies at Boma. After the kids were all deposited. Just as we were entering the elevator. His cell phone rang, His ex crying to beat the band. her mom had a massive coronary and died. It was ugly she wanted the kids brought home. He didn't they didn't really know Grandma. So I said. I will talk to later or tommorow. And got myself away from the drama.

We talked later, He said he was staying and we should just get the kids together and deal with it. We planned Magic Kingdom the next day. My Ds9 went to MGM with nana. And we took dd16 and the little ones with us. The girls were ok. We told them we met at the hotel. And left it at that. We had a great day at MK. I took them straight to fantasy land. And we did everything in short order. Almost no waits. This day they LOVED IT!!!!I told them the day before daddy didn't know he was in the 9 year old boy section, And that today we were in the 6 year old girl section. And it sure was for them .the day before they wanted to go after 2 hours. With us along as tour guides they didn't want to leave! All the kids were great no conflicts, No meltdowns. everyone palyed nice The only issue we had blending the 2 familys was .... If My guys were restless. I would produce candy to sweeten the wait in line. It seems they do not get very much candy. So they thought I was the messiah. Dad was a little unsure. we were supposed to have an adults only dinner this pm as well. however both sets of kids did not enjoy Simbas clubhouse. And wanted to stay with us. All day long the girls were searching for two characters cinderella and Sleeeping Beauty. We returned to the hotel. Called and were able to secure Cinderells dinner at the Grand floridian for 5. We left all the little boys back with nana and took just the girls to dinner. we had a great time. The fairy godmother is very attentive and into her role. It was a nice relaxing dinner. We all had fun however His dd. was still asking where is Sleeping Beauty...... So we told her we would try to find her but could not promise. We saw some great choir singers in the lobby of the grand Floridian and retired to the lodge about 10. exhausted after a very fun day.

Doing the Cinderella dinner at GF was the highlight of the trip for my DD last weekend. Did you enjoy the food? I thought it was very good, but I was surprised there was not more selection.

I enjoyed the selection at Park Faire. I thought it was a better selection for me. I got mostly salad at Chef Mickeys. where I was able to get a few things at Park Faire. We don't eat meat. So it was good to have a few more pasta selections.
