Hubby and I are taking a weekend getaway in April. Easy to get to restaurant recommendations? We are not doing any of the parks but, don’t mind a walk, taking the boats or skyliner.

I would take the skyliner to Riviera for at least a drink. Very romantic to float along, and if you don't go at parks open/close, you have a decent chance of having one to yourselves. I've had the salad at the Riviera quick service restaurant, not sure where is best for dinner/drinks without a reservation, but I'm sure someone here can chime in. Skyliner could be a fun morning coffee trip too. (Just a reminder you'd want to book table reservations 60 days in advance - you can cancel the day before if you are not using them, if you don't cancel they do charge $10 per person for a no show).

Love this! We could ride the Skyliner all day. Will try to get a reservation when 60 days hits.

Adding on to PPs post - if you would like to take the Skyliner to Riviera, I would look for dinner reservations at Topolino's. It is at the top of the resort and has a terrace so you can go outside for a beautiful view. If you would rather eat closer to the Boardwalk, I would recommend several of the restaurants at Swan/Dolphin - Il Mulino, Shula's and bluezoo are very good. Flying Fish at Boardwalk is also very good. If you are looking for more of an adventure, go to Topolino's

Thank you! These suggestions are so helpful. I looked at going off property but to us, it’s worth the extra expense to stay “in the bubble” and not worry about traffic and parking. So many great choices! I’m going to shoot for Topolino’s.

I don’t know how you feel about eating at the bar, but my husband and I have been able to do walk up at Topolino’s. They have a a sizeable bar and lounge area that’s all first come first served. So, try for a reservation, but know you may have luck getting a seat at the bar!

Agree with Blue Zoo - we've had a couple really nice, romantic feeling meals there over the years, including after reopening from pandemic closure. A really nice restaurant that not too many talk about because it's hidden at S/D!

That’s great! I will keep that in mind. We love bar seating! Have had fun conversations meeting new folks.
