i just received my tickets in the mail today. i was reading that you are allowed to board the ship at 1pm. does anyone know the best time to board.i wasn't sure if i go right at 1pm that i will be waiting in a long line.

The terminal opens at 10; lots of people arrive by 10:30. There's places to sit, things to look at, videos for the kids. When I cruised last month boarding (for the Magic) was scheduled for noon, they let us on at 11:30. Once they begin boarding, the line moves pretty fast.

One thing to consider - that first day is a day of your vacation! I generally like to avoid crowds, but I wanted to board early so that we had the whole day to enjoy the sun up on deck 9.

Have a great trip!

the lines move quick because there are about 20 agents for US citizens. the terminal is comfortable so the wait for the rest of your family will be easy. but i do believe your entire family have to see the agent when it's your turn to check in.

Officially, the boarding time is 1:00pm, but most of the time they begin the boarding process anywhere from 11:30 to Noon.
