Hi, I am traveling with my children and a friend. All 4 of us in the same stateroom (dream, port canaveral, Jan 2016). However, we won't be arriving at the port anywhere close to the same time (she won't be there till after noon, but we will get there at 10). If we both print copies of the boarding pass, can my group board when we get there and she can board when she gets there?
Looking at the boarding pass it seems that all of us have to sign the form and I won't even see her till she gets to the port that day, since we are from different states, and are just meeting there.
Just want to see if I have to hang around in the boarding area for hours just to get her signature on my form, or if she can board with her signature, and I can board with just ours. Hope that makes sense!

The terminal opens around 10:30. If you arrive earlier than your selected Port Arrival Time, you may be asked to wait until the proper PAT before being allowed in. Your actual boarding number is tied to your PAT. No matter what time you actually arrive and check in you will get the same boarding number.

Boarding usually begins around 11:15-11:30 with Concierge and Platinum Castaway Club members. Then boarding numbers are announced, roughly every 5-10 minutes, depending on how quickly the line is going. Once the boarding number being announced catches up with the number being issued at check in, Open Boarding is announced, and anyone holding any boarding number may board.

I had a boarding time of 12:30, but got boarding group 10 in November. We were there when it opened as we came on the first bus from the airport. Noone mentioned my boarding time. We were on the ship by 11:50 and done eating by the time my PAT time arrived.

It's actually a Port Arrival Time you select during the online check in process. If you arrive at the terminal via DCL transfers, you are allowed to enter the terminal at that time, regardless of your selected PAT. Your boarding number you get at check in at the port is tied to your PAT. That's why, even though you arrived on the first bus (early) you still got a higher boarding number. Open boarding is typically announced around 12:30-12:45, so anyone can board at that time, regardless of boarding number.
