Board Hierarchy ( please explain)

I blocked my wife, but she can still see what I post, so blocking a mod would still let them see all your dirty secrets.

I also learned that even if I block someone they can send private messages that I can see, so the mods could send a warning or issue points and I would get that message.

Thank you this was my theory but had no one to test it with. So thank you for testing!

Results may vary based on patients OS. In some patients side affects have been reported, side affects are minor and may include dry mouth, watery eyes, bladder discomfort, and narcolepsy. side affects reported in less than 0.5% of tested subjects. If you experience any side affects, discontinue use and inform your server. Do not use OS if you are allergic to your OS or if you have difficulty re
Don't forget headaches:rotfl2:

I have an honest question that I am wondering about cuz I dont want to get in hot water again.... The mods and admins always say use the ignore feature instead of arguing...just wondering if its legal to block a mod or admin.
Not sure why he didn't just get a direct answer? Or maybe the mods have all ignored him?? :fish:
Lol we all will ignore each other and all the threads will become one post monologues.

We cannot ignore anyone otherwise we wouldn't be able to see everything going on especially when a problem arises.

You can ignore a moderator or webmaster but honestly don't see why you would. A lot of us post great info regarding the topics we cover.

I wasn't sure what the answer is, so didn't want to misdirect, and it was late after a 14-hour drive from Texas (I was winding down before going to bed, so didn't research).

I think people are over estimating what I was saying. My quote, was a gentle way of saying, "40 mods here, why are you guys jumping through hoops testing it?" And it was a gentle tap on the shoulder a question was waiting. It's a legit question, it can get you banned immediately in my other Disney group.
I don't have any desire to block anyone. Unfortunately, this thread is a perfect example of why advocating an "ignore" feature as a fix all has pitfalls. It creates hurt feelings. Why don't you like me or my posts? If ignore is just a time saving feature of filtering content then whoever wants to ignore is doing just that, nothing more. There is no need for hurt feelings. I am sure the mods provide great content, but with 5 dis shows a week, daily fixes, articles and a very active board AND 40 plus mods, admins and podcasters, I have enough content to choke a horse! And that's just from the Dis! There is a whole world out there! Some people just want to cut that down so they can work, study, and do other things, I get that. It's not personal.
I think all the mods are fantastic, I have said that. I thank them for their hard work. Again, it was just a gentle reminder and light musing on the pitfalls of ignoring on my part, if offense was taken, please accept my apologizes. :love2:

I appreciate your post. As a moderator I'm not going to tell you to use the ignore feature specifically but I'll post a reminder that we have that feature available.

I also want to say that it is important for webmasters, posters, and moderators to work together to solve issues. You have a question or concern. Don't hesitate to ask one of us.
