I heard on another site that there is a fee to use Muscles and Bustles. Do even guests at BWV have to pay this fee? If so, do you think it's worth it? I hear it's $15 a day, or $25 for one person for their whole trip; $45 per family for their whole trip.

Since I'm the one one in my family who will use it, and $25 would pay for a 3 month extension of my health club membership at home, I'm questionning whether this is worth it.
Is the exercise equipment at Muscles and Bustles anything special? If it is, I might be willing to pay the fee just to try it. If not, I'll hope that all that walking (to the elevators ;) ) keeps me in shape! :earsgirl:

If you are a guest at BWV there is no fee to use the health club/gym.

Wow, fast reply! Thanks! :sunny:

I guess maybe the fee is for guests of other Disney properties?

I believe it is actually free only if you are a DVC member... (so if you are just a "regular 'ole person" you may have to pay... of course I don't know how much checking goes on...)

This is an excerpt from the member website:

Stay In Shape While On Vacation
Members can enjoy complimentary use of the Fitness Centers at Disney's BoardWalk Villas, The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, and Disney's Beach Club Resort during their stay at a Disney Vacation Club or a Walt Disney World® Resort hotel. Use of the Fitness Center at Disney's Old Key West Resort is also complimentary for all Members and Guests, while staying at the resort.

Hope this helps! Muscles and Bustles is a pretty decent little workout room...

Guests of members may also use the facilities of the BWV Health Club for free. MY SIL (not a member) used it when her family stayed with us at the BWV. All she had to do was leave her resort ID (with DVC Member printed on it) with the attendant while she was there.
