I can actually afford Blue Man Group this year thanks to the "stimulation" I received from the government..:worship: Anyway, I want the best rate. I know rows AA-DD are best. Okay, I have AAA membership and an annual pass too. Can anyone tell me if I can get the best rate by buying tix from Universal when I arrive and get a discount because I am an annual passholder OR buy them from a AAA location down here? Thanks again people.:thumbsup2

AP discount is 10%.

I'm not a huge fan of the poncho zone. A) The ponchos are needed only every now and again; you can go a whole show and never get a splatter. B) They're uncomfortable. C) You're too close to fully appreciate some of the bits.

I think the first or second row center (A or B) in Zone 1 are better seats.

You can also buy them on AAA.com website, and the AAA discount is 10%, but the selection of seats at discounted rate might be limited.

How about the seats in zone 3 in row M, left side? Is it really necessary to be in the first few rows? I can get a AAA discount only for row M (other rows aren't available at discounted rate), but would seats that far back not be good?

Actually, there are really no "bad" seats for this one. (Even the poncho seats, which as I've said I'm not big on.)

In fact, I think the whacked out show finale may work better from the seats farther back, because from there you can take in the whole insane picture.

 Thanks Kelly! I am really not crazy about having stuff splashed on me... I sure could use my government sponsered funds elsewhere in the park. So, I think I might try the single rows per your advice, and spend the extra cash on dinner and souvenirs in the park!!! :woohoo: :cool1:

i agree, that the further back you are the better your seats are. we actually sat in the very back row, in the right section, and loved it. the back row for the finale is the best way to watch the show in my opinion.

I have a strong preference for AA or A. I prefer to be in the first row of a section and we really enjoy both of those areas. AA I enjoy because the show is more intense, you get the stares, etc. You can see there expressions which really make the show more interesting.

Right now there is a special for AP's of 20% off all other than Poncho, you may want to check it out.
