Bluezoo or Flying Fish?

Doing a whirlwind trip next weekend for my birthday with my mom (her first time there in 32 years!). For my birthday dinner, should I go with Flying Fish or Bluezoo? We are staying at the Dolphin, so that's convenient, of course, but we walk a lot so Flying Fish is relatively easy, too. Also, I get 10% off at Flying Fish with Disney Visa, which matters a little bit, I suppose.

Mom is not into raw fish at all but can find dishes on both menus she likes. Are one restaurant's plated portions significantly smaller or bigger than the other? Thoughts?

Thanks!

Both fine restaurants that specialise in fish yet do well by land offerings too. Modern decor, similarly priced, service seems on par and scores close by professional critics with FF taking a slight edge.
Since it really seems like comparing apples to apples then I think it comes down to transport and money. For your locale the getting there and back is simple enough so it comes down to money thus FF wins in this instance.
I will also say that the desserts at FF are incredible (they actually look as good as they taste) and will take your taste buds to a welcome place.
HTH.

Bluezoo is outstanding, and a cut above in food, service, and decor. Flying Fish unfortunately slid quite a bit in these areas after the rehab, and after a couple of mediocre experiences is no longer on our list of must-do restaurants.

I have not been to Flying Fish since the reopening so I can't say how they are in the present. I will say that Bluezoo is one of the most amazing restaurants I have been to in or out of WDW and would highly recommend this place.

Wow lots of love for Bluezoo! I think we will go with it. Mom also likes the idea of it because she can wear her fancy shoes and then go up to our room and change out of them before walking into Epcot. :tiptoe: For me, that crabmeat sauce just sounds amazing...

Blue Zoo, the food is good, they have good bartenders if you like funky cocktails. The seafood prep at Blue Zoo is ultra fresh. And no meal is complete without the banana chocolate molten cake with banana ice cream ..... sin on a plate, you don't want to share.

I would go to Bluezoo. We ate at FF in November the food was good to very good but not excellent!
