OK, I figure this is a good place to ask this.
I am going through my boys' old clothes for one of those church consignment sales. I used to sell at every sale, but we lived overseas for 2 yrs and it's been 3 yrs since I sold (or got rid of!) my kids' clothes.
I have 3 Steve shirts (the green striped Blues Clues shirts) and 2 Blue costumes - 1 brand new with tags.
My question: would you try to sell these at the consignment sale, put them on eBay, or put them in the sale and try to sell them on eBay if they don't sell? And how would you price them (NOT garage sale price - consignment price)?
I did look on eBay, and Steve shirts have sold for as much as $20+ and have failed to sell for as little as $4.99. Mine are all in bigger sizes (5, 6, 7) and are in good to very good used shape.
And, obviously, it's early for costume time, so I'm not getting good hits on the Blues costume.
